how much variation in trace length of differential signal is tolerable..for both normal signals and high speed signals ( like the one used in gigabit ethernet )...?

I am using 1gb DDR2 SDRAM, and don't wants to use ODT so i have used external resistors but how to determine their value 50Ohm or 75 Ohm as datasheet has said nothing about it. it simply says make EMRA10 = 1 of

Shall i connect the rest of two pads to ground.
or short them to crystal pins ? as i have seen this is been done in a reference design, but doesn't know the logic behind this
