Need help understanding volume controls on a bluetooth board.

Thanks Nizar, but at this point i've gotten it figured out thanks to Klaus' confirmation. I've tested the functions with a bit of wire and everything works great. Thanks!

Need help understanding volume controls on a bluetooth board.

Nizar, this is the only thing i could find on this board and I don't know what chip it uses. I used an image translator on it and was able to get a lot of info, but it wasn't clear to me which pins to connect the controls to so i asked here. I was guessing it was the key_com, but without any...

    Charging Li-Ion while providing load.

So i posed my plan for this project (image below) on the diyaudio forums. Someone raised the concern that my BMS is overrated for my project, at 25A. I wouldn't expect to use more than a few amps at maximum, but it never occurred to me that the BMS being rated that much higher than my project...

    Charging Li-Ion while providing load.

If i decide i want to double the capacity, would be it acceptable to use this setup twice and connect the charge/discharge of both BMS boards together? That is, if i already have a 3s battery with the BMS built... could i just build another identical setup and combine them? Or will i need to...

Ok, so my guess was correct. Thanks for the confirmation! I appreciate it!

Need help understanding volume controls on a bluetooth board.

Hello. I've been playing around with this bluetooth speaker project. The bluetooth module i've chosen is **broken link removed**. I tested the basic usage last night and it worked great, and I like that it has an audio input for when i want to connect a music device that doesn't have...

    Charging Li-Ion while providing load.

That's great! The downside is that I'll have no external way of knowing when the batteries have fully charged. There are S1 & S2 solder places on the image. They have a line drawn to where text is supposed to tell you what they do, but it is missing. Could this be for indicator LEDs...

    Charging Li-Ion while providing load.

Hello. I'm building a 12v bluetooth speaker and am trying to design the battery and charging system. I'm thinking about using 3 of the Panosonic NCR18650B in series to start, and then perhaps upgrade to another 3 pack in parallel later if the battery life isn't good enough. This is my first...

    NiMH internal charger

Hello. Over the years i've been building little amplifiers for friends. I generally use 8x AA NiMH batteries to power them. It's important to me that the user not have to remove the batteries in order to charge them. It's also important to me that they be able to use the amp while the batteries...

Need battery advice for car camping

Ok, thanks... sounds like i should go with an external battery. If i go with one of the pocket starters, do you think it could be recharged via the cigarette lighter while i'm driving?

Need battery advice for car camping

So i'm converting my Honda Element into a micro-camper. I would like to be able to run a 12v fan at night, recharge our cell phones, and turn on the light occasionally. The light usage would be minimal, just for a few minutes while getting ready for bed. The small fan could run for 6-10 hours...

    Stereo to mono summing question.

Thanks Guru. No, there is no tweeter for the highs. I only have room for 1 speaker, so I tried for something that was listed as "full range" to try to get the best sound i could from a single 5-1/4" speaker. The LM3886 requires a minimum of 20 volts, and i think i should stick to 12 volts...

    Stereo to mono summing question.

Ouch, interesting. Well, i'm actually only using 1 of the channels to drive the single 8 ohm speaker, hence me needing to convert sterio to mono before going into the amp. Would you be able to suggest a better chip / amp for my (novelty) project? My specs: The speaker/driver: **broken link...

    Stereo to mono summing question.

Brian, thanks for the information! I did not build the amp circuit this time, and am instead using **broken link removed** that i purchased on Ebay. It uses the TDA7297 chip, but I don't see any schematic information available. The input source is either a phone, or **broken link removed**...

    UB1250 enclosed charging?

I'm finally getting back to the project. This certainly isn't air tight, but is probably still considered "enclosed". I could easily drill a few vent holes in the bottom if necessary. Any advice would be appreciated.. thanks!
