Re: problem with pskmod
you need to convert -1 to 0. Do it by adding 1 with all the bits and then divide it by 2. You input this to pskmod. You can convert the zeros to -1 later when you need it.
about invisibility
I have heard that too. But I wouldn't expect too much too soon. The work is on its beginning stages and a practical application (if possible) is very far away.
non-linear fft
the function inside the FFT could be a delta, rect(.), signum or shifted versions and combinations of all of them depending on m1 and m2. It's very hard to say a general solution.
find peaks algorithm
if a sample is smaller than it's previous sample and also smaller than the next sample, then that sample is a trough. A similar logic can be formed to find peaks.
Current consumption calc
for dc case, multiply the current and voltage at output to get the power. divide power by input voltage to get input current. Remember to sum the output powers of both the regulators.

You should contact the TV manufacturer. You can replace the fuse with a fuse of same voltage but a higher current rating also, but that could be dangerous.
