How can I determine the dominant pole of an opamp by hand calculation?
I am confused with associating each node with a time constant and things like that......where can I find good reference about that? I read Razavi's book....it simply does all the calculation and I don't really get any...
Re: Miller's theorem
Hey buddies,
I've just found out that Miller theorem can be applied only when the impedance Z in interest doesn't cause any change to the gain between X and Y. That's why razavi says that if Z is not the main signal path, Miller's theorem can be applied. :)
Re: Best analog program
I think Razavi's book is good, it is not for a very beginner though. For an experienced engineer, it's a good book.....I would say Gray and Meyer's book is better in providing insight to the beginners........if there is a fifth edition which is completely for MOS....I...
Re: Miller's theorem
It seems to me that every theorem is the form :
A=> B
so if B is that the impedance can be decomposed into two impedances connected to the ground, then what is A?
Miller's theorem
How can I gurantee Miller's theorem is applicable. Razavi's book just states that it is not always applicable. So, when is it applicable and when is it not?
yes....can I put it that way? Analog design requires you to have an intense interest in it....then you have to have experience and insight.....
am I right?
the most difficult thing I am facing is the uncertainties in analog circuit....just like quantum mechanics...everything seems not so certain...
I am an undergraduate student......just start doing some analog circuit design thing...I've read through some materials about that...like differential pairs, current sources....but I always find them difficult to comprehend......and we have to deal with many uncertainties and...
