If a real signal bandwidth is 2B, then its "equivelent" low-pass model would be B becasue the low pass model is complex, it has I and Q components EACH one is B in bandwidth, thus retaining the 2B bandwidth of the "real" signal.
BER estimation
receiver cannot tell BER unless it knows what was transmitted before-hand, maybe a training sequence that is known by both transmitter and receiver.
In general (without training sequence/pre-stored data), only external equipment can do general BER estimation, since the same...
I assume you need to go to HFSS->Fields->Edit Source
Then you will see list of all your sources, probably most are set to scale = 0, while one is set to scale = 1.
Make all of them = 1, then it will sum the fields due to all these sources.

Can I use the same installation disk that I used for 32 bit windows to install HFSS 11 in 64 bit Windows?
Or do I need a new HFSS disk, that is specifically compiled from Ansoft for 64 bit OS?
Thanks in advance.

How the receiver locks first to the signal?
does it do symbol timing lock first, then frequency lock then phase lock?
SAy for GSM?
How about WCDMA?
How about FM?

gsm spectrum due to modulation
gsm in phase only modulation (GMSK), so PA nonlinearity should not affect the spectrum.. Did you measure spectrum before the PA also? is it clean?
Unless you are biasing the PA into VERY VERY DEEP class C, it should not affect you spectrum. Most likely it is your...
Oh my god, how you can clame this?? This is completely not true.
I design (for living) RF power amplifiers, and the ONLY class I use is class AB (and all other compnanies also use the same thing).
Class AB is THE MOST popular class at RF freq (like this 800MHz in question)..
Please people, do...
This is completely wrong.
Class AB is the MOST WIDELY used class for power amplification at RF frequencies..
In fact class AB will consume less DC power from the battery (or supply) than class A for the same output power, since it is more efficient..
Do not put completely wrong facts here...
I came across such a unit....(PRI GSM Gateway):
I understand that PRI is the E1 Primary Rate Interface for E1 lines, GSM obviously is GSM..
But what is the need for such a unit? connects to an E1 line then terminates call to GSM network (that is a description I found somewhere for this unit)...
thanks everybody..
BUT..WTF? I just checked some solar panel prices: ~$5/Watts? Oh my GOD...
why those things are soooo expensive, are not those just silicon? oh my :(
So, as House_Cat said: it is the solar panels that is the problem...
Add to that you need an inverter (DC->AC converter)...
is there such big batteries (a few kilo-watts-hours, enough to power a small apartment)?
Companies? links? related systems..? prices..?
who manufactures such batteries (low cost prefered)?
Appreciate the help :)
Cheers...
