Does anyone have any info/shematics on Clayton 12/220V inverters. I'm espacially interested in the single wire protocol used for remote control.
/Thanks
I have a Palm Pilot display w/ touch part no UG-24UD1 it has a 24 pin connector. Does anyone have a pinout for this display, or schematics for a Palm Pilot where the LCD connection shows.
Thanks.
DSC Power832

picotech adc10 schematic
Hi, does anyone have the schematic for ADC-10 / ADC-40 or any other scope/logger from pico technology. (https://www.picotech.com)
Since they have the software for free download, it would be interesting to be able to build the hardware cheaply!!!

If you can use chips instead of modules (cheaper) I would strongly recomend nRF905 from Nordic VLSI (http://www.nvlsi.com/) It is easy to use and relativly cheap, about 4USD in small qty(1-10).

Re: Home Made Power
Have you seen the Tim Nolan MPPT:
**broken link removed**
Its a very interesting design based on sw runing on a pic. The software also regulary turn the MPPT on and off to measure the improved effiency for debug purpose.

If you need that precis calibration, why not just rent a calibrated meter and use that as a reference?
and btw at least the melting ice can be very exact at sea level if you keep the mixture of water and ice in a insulated bottle, and wait 30-60 minutes to stabilize after you insert the probe...
The easy way to do it quite accurate is to use a bath of melting ice for 0 deg. and boiling water for 100 deg. This is of course asuming that you are at sea level.

home made lcd panel
How long cable do you have? paralell TFT interface is very senistive to cable length, my experiance says that maximum 2 ft is acceptable. If you need longer cable then select a TFT with LVDS interface.

Why not just consulting the datasheets:
The battery you using has typ. 80mAh capacity.
DS1307 is using 500nA in battery mode (or 800nA if you are using the square wave output)
This gives you:
for 500nA 160000h or 18.2 year
for 800nA 100000h or 11.4 year
the storage time for a lithium battery...
Strange logo...
Hi, Does anyone recognize this logo, I have looked for it in the logo archive on this site but without success! I have a component that I need to find a replacement for in a project. I just need to know what mfg this is.
Thanks!
heatsink blackening
Hi, the thermal resistance increase with about 15% for a silver heatsink, compared to a black anodized one. If the heatsink is mounted horistontally instead of vertically the K factor decrease by another 15-20%.
