Usually how can you draw a nice diagram of the circuits?

draw nice diagrams I used LT spice. It can be dpwnloaded for free. just google lt spice or switchcad lt spice. You can directly save it as bmp or jpg

Step time for oscillator - why is it important to be small?

Step time for oscillator Hi Does anybody know why it is important for step time to be small when simulating oscillators. I was simulatiing 19.4 Mhz crystal oscillator. When my step size is 100p it does not oscillate, when it is 1ps it oscillates. Thank You Roger

How to calculate total gate capacitance of an NMOS

Hi Generally I connect the source drain and body to ground. I then give a ramp voltage say 0 to 1.2V in 1.2ps using pwl. now observe the current. I generally remains constant. C= I/(dV/dT) i.e I/(10^11). note the cap befor threshold is differernt from cap after thereshold.

gm of MOSFET - calculating the lambda of transistor

gm of MOSFET Hi I am new here to EDAboard. I am working on 0.13u technology, I used to previously work on 0.25u technology in College. I am finding it hard to calculate the lambda of transistor(channel length modulation) . Most of my co workers do not calculate at all. I have two...
