Re: Antenna IE3D
Hi mamali,
My patch array have 16 elements and is a coaxil feed.
I am reading other books for this because my problem are the microstrip feeding between patchs.
I would like to recommend me others books.
Thanks for all,
Dienal
Re: Antenna IE3D
My principal problem is the adaptation line in the patch array between each patch, because I use a formula to calculate the adaptation line and obtein one results, but I compared my calculus with other examples and it are different. I think that I have a problem with the data...
Antenna IE3D
Hi all,
I have a problem with a simulation of a patchs arrays in the IE3d. I design a patch array for 2.4 GHz but it don't have a good VSWR.
In the examples of IE3D, it have a array patch and to adapt the microstrip use other concept in the trafo line and I don't understand this...
Re: Parabolic antenna Dipole
I don't know specific. The range of the loss factor is 0.0055 to 0.0005. The people that I bought this product they didn't know specific value.

Re: Microstrip Discontinuity
Thanks for your comments Sergio.
My problem, now is this, your comment about PE is very problematic with products that i used to paste the copper.
For this reason I would like to use the FR4.
You know what are the problem with this PE and for the time?

Parabolic antenna Dipole
Hello all,
I designed a parabolic antenna for 2.4 GHz, but I have the following problem: when I probe the dipole for match the parabolic this is work very fine, but when I probed the same dipole when a dilectric it performance down 3-6 dB. Dielectric is used for...
Re: Microstrip Discontinuity
In a microstrip adapter, the quarter of lambda transformer longitude must to be exactly 30.7 mm ((300/2440)* 1/4), or i need to use the velocity of propagation in the formula? (in the place of the velocity in the free space).
Thank you very much.

Re: Microstrip Discontinuity
The antenna is a array with four patch microstrip elements in 2.4 GHz. Each microstrip patch have 100 ohm in one point of this and I take the Z0 of there. Then the microstrip line is 100 ohm (match with the microstrip patch) and in the midlle of two patch the match...
Microstrip Discontinuity
Actually I'm working in a four element microstrip antenna array, but I have a question.
In my patch design, the impedance is 100 ohm and the microstrip line impedance (feed line) is 100 ohm too. In the "middle" of the 100 ohm feed line I have to put an 50 ohm line to...

Adaptation Impedance
I need a design or theory that give a explanation about this.
I designed very much antennas but in this moment I am design 2.4 GHz antennas and my problem is adaptition impedance due to I can't calculate the characterist impedance of the antenna.
Thanks,
Dienal
