lol!! I dont want losses in my circuit neither..it was my bad that i forgot to mention that zero return loss means the output on my network analyzer is closer to 0dB reference..will upload the pic in a while
I am working on an amplifier(microwave) circuit and i find that return loss looks awful (nearly close to zero) that's very close to being short. i can add on a little more solder at the input signal connector on my pcb that brings relatively higher return loss but i have to compensate the gain...
Hi, I can understand the seriousness of your circuit and I would suggest you to use a LM2576 5V regulator in this case because the heat level of this is very low moreover your load current is not high for which the above will be most suitable

Hi All, I have a big doubt while reading many technical papers regarding amplifier gain.Often I come across the word 'LOOP GAIN' denoted by
(Aβ). is the term Loop gain mean the gain of the closed loop system(system with feedback) or it is different from that??

Hi I am working with Apex PA107dp and the slew rate mentioned in the datasheet is 3000v/us but i am not able to achieve more than 220v/us. I have a doubt that whether the circuit should be loaded or unloaded during this measurement? Do external compensation affect these ?
What do u mean by a compensation capacitor here? does the input capacitor fall into the caegory? because I am working with APEX pa107dp and it is such a fast ampr (slew rate of 3000V/us) but I don't find any change in SR by changing the input capacitance

in a power amplifier does the power output has a trade-off with gain bandwidth product?? If so what are the possible ways to eliminate that and to get a high GBP and o/p power??
No I did not confuse with the 3-dB and unity gain frequency. the 3-dB frequency was -3dB from the maximum gain(19.70dB) and the unity gain is the frequency where the gain is 0dB...Many thanks for your posts anyways
