Re: Modelsim question
Thank's mawais
If I understand well, I have to initialize the signals.
My doubt was if the modelsim has a command that make that initialization. It should be very useful.
Thank's for the help.

modelsim not bound error
Have you the libs updated?
if that's a new core block you need the last libs to suport that or else the Modelsim don't know that block and look for it as a blackbox and put all outputs as don't care
why modelsim undefined signal
Hi
I'm new to modelsim and VHDL files and I started in the begining: simulating simple functions.
When simulating a simple FlipFlipD I noticed that the output is undefined until my first clock cicle.
It is possible to make modelsim starting the output of the...
Virtex is more advanced. Almost all Virtex comes with a PPC embedded.
Virtex has a 0 more in right side of price too.
But with a Spartan 3 you can build a little MIPS processor while in a good virtex you can put a Machintoch software running(I don't speak in the work that ir need for that, but...

I'm designing in my final project some parts for a MIPS processor in VHDL which should do:
multiplications and divions pipelined, with suport for hazard detection, exception handler and multithread capacity.
Division is kiling my nerves but I'm still working on it.
I can't post here...
