How to simulate the open loop gain of a buffer?

loop gain inductor can you give me a figure about the connection

How to simulate the dc open loop gain v.s output range

Use a balun for the input and output. Vinp=Vid/2+Vic Vinn=-Vid/2+Vic Then give Vdm a dc sweep plot the voltage of output node. Use calculator to derive the output node. dVout/dV=A Plot A vs Vid, will get the figure

How to deal with the current source in amplifer?when tapeout

I design a sinple amplifer? In bias circuit there is a current source to supply the bias current for the main amplifer? And now I want to tape out this amplifer. Here comes a question? How to deal with the ideal current source? Do I make a bandgap circuits to produce the source current...

How to use the three terminal resister in the model lib?

Thank you for your answer? Can you give me some reading material or textbook for the connection of the third terminal of resistor? And I can not find any more resource about it . Thanks

How to use the three terminal resister in the model lib?

The resistors in the library consist of two types; diffused and insulated. The diffused types include n+ and are 3 terminal resistors with diode backplates. Two terminal of the resistor link to input and output port? Did No.3 terminal link to vdd or gnd? diffused and insulated typy are the...

How to measure the Gm of a transconductor?

You can upload you pic by clicking the browse button And then click add attachment button to add you file. At last you submit the reply. I want to see your graph. Thanks

How to measure the Gm of a transconductor?

How to measure the dellta Iout = (Iout1-Iout2)? I now use two way to measure the dellta Iout. 1.use capacitor load between the two out put node and measure the current through it. But different value of cap will give big different THD. And this method can not draw the Gm vs Vid waveform though...

Why the higher is the gain the better is the SNR performance?

Re: noise and gain I guess you mean the gain bandwidth. For a amplifier gain*bandwidth=GBW So large gain will low bandwidth if other condition remains the same.

How to measure the Gm of a transconductor?

how to measure gm of amplifier A Gm cell can be made by a transconductor. By how to measure the Gm of the cell for I do not know how to measure the output current of the Gm cell? What kind of load can be used to plot the output current? Can you give me a testbench schmetic to measure the...

how to affirm that the cmfb circuit is stablilty?

Can you explain it? thanx I guess test the GBW of the and phrase margin of the cmfb will help.

A question about MOS transistor that in linear reigon

If you use that model, I think you should add something. For in linear region. The gm will have be uCox(W/L)Vds, more like a linear resistor.

A question about DC gain of amplifer, thanx

Yes, I used a differential amplifier. You mentioned is one method. Actually I use a balun for the input. I hold the common mode and sweep the differential by DC sweep. Briefly speaking, I hold the common mode voltage, and let the voltage of the two input change at the opposite direction. And plot...

Why it isn't necessary to do output matching

Re: matching I guess your question may be why in IC do not need 50om match. Becauset in IC we can define the resister between stages.

How to determine the channel length?

I guess for 1/f noise of the transistor, the L value will affect the noise.

A question about DC gain of amplifer, thanx

898=dVout/dVin I think it is the DC gain. That is not 1kV its is 898 V/V, it is a ratio not the absolute value. Why the output graph is wrong? I got the result by dc sweep the differential mode voltage of the input. Can you give me a testbench for test the DC gain a amplifier? by .DC? Thanks...
