U can write ur entire code in c++..
it is easy and extendable for many other image processing operations...
but if it is only segmentation that u want to implement, then go for MATLAB.
Can anybody suggest an efficient algorithm for the reconstruction of the image from irregularly sampled data which is basically lossles..
If possible please suggest some material also.
CMOS analog IC designers have good future till another twenty years but they would have to fastly adopt to the latest trends otherwise their existence in the market would go waste..

You can buy an ADC board at any leading computer peripheral shops.
But for what purpose u want that?
because already our system contains an ADC...

as such SOC includes many parameters like memory and other things.
SOC is a very general purpose one.
ASIC is a very specific IC that is fitting for a particular need.
First we go for Verilg, then FPGA , then ASIC and finally ASIC

fft hertz matlab
using matlab for fft command is simple..
just read the voice file as an array of data and apply fft and display the spectrum.
to remove the dc component use fftshift.
