This one is better than what is offered by CEDA yet more cost effective than the training offered by Altium.

Hi Josh,
What you can try to do is to add add the other connectors as "sub-parts" to the daughter card.
Then, you should be able to get the information / quantity of the "sub-parts" during BOM generation.
For connector 1, the parameters would be
Name: Sub-Part 1 Value: Part #...
For PADS,
I would suggest converting the image into monochrome then convert it to a DXF file that is compatible to PADS.
Import the image (DXF format) in PADS and that should solve the problem.
It would be very interesting to see colored images/logos printed as silkcreens on a PCB!
Hello everyone,
Greetings!!!
We are starting to build a customer base in the semiconductor industry for its ATE (automated test equipment) hardware requirements.
Capabilities:
-schematic capture (can start from scratch, schematic template development)
-component placement
-PCB layout...
I have more than 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
I am looking for a PCB design job for your ATE (Teradyne/Eagle/Nextest...etc.) board requirements.
My expertise is in Expedition/PADS/Altium Designer.
PM me for inquiries.
you might want to use "Net Ties" with that in Altium Designer.
this might help you understand the Net Tie concept:

thanks. i already have them downloaded before i asked my question in this forum.
these materials are obsolete.
some commands may not apply to the latest version of Altium Designer.
Hi Atripathi,
Thanks for your response. Yes, I have been double clicking on the Allegro icon on my desktop to run the program.
I'll try your suggestion and I will update you on the result.
Have you tried installing 2 versions of SPB (i.e. 16.3 and 16.5) at the same time?
I have a Win 7 x64...
