why upgrade 7.3 to 9.0?
if your care the user interface, then upgrade it. but, if you want to use this Redhat 9.0 system to run the EDA software, don't upgrade. there are a lot of software compatibility problems.

I use Mentor's IC station. It's good and u can write AMPLE file to control you IC station environment. The most important is " it won't cost too much"
yes, and most ethernet card which used realtech's chip can easily be re-programed. the others, you have to take out the E2PROM to re-program it and mount it on the card.
remember, you can not have the same mac address's machine on the same network.
Did someone has experience running Redhat7.3 on solaris network?
when I use nfs mount to mount solaris(7.0) file system on me redhat7.3 system. my redhat7.3 system will hand if I write the data into the mounting disk.
