I am also working on corrugated horn antenna and I am getting co-pol(gainx) +20 dB and cross pol(gainy) -18 dB. But, problem is that I am getting peak in cross pol at boresight. Can you help me in finding reason for the same?
Hey, friends, I want to ask one question. I am working on corrugated horn antenna and I have many doubts regarding it's simulation in HFSS. I have come to know that I have to give 6 modes while giving excitation. Now, the problem is that my cross polarization becomes worst when I define 6 modes...

For that you have to 1st define radiation box. Then go to 'insert a far field setup' and give proper value of theta and phi. After that you can see polarization, axial ratio, etc. through ----- results-->create far field report.
I am not getting good cross polarization performance in corrugated horn antenna. Means I am getting good return loss, 96% power goes into fundamental mode (TE11) but not getting low value of cross polarization.
My co-polarization gain is 20 dB and cross polarization gain is 6 dB. But the...
Dear frds, I want to know that if I have designed pyr. horn antenna in hfss and now I want to give excitation to it, how many modes I have to give in waveport?
Reply me asap because right now my research work is based on this antenna and I have been asked to submit progress report before 1st...
