there was a 400Hz single phase design in wireless world 1999 feb.
the basic concept is the same:
convert the 28V dc a higher level dc, then invert this to, in you case, 3 phase sinewave 28V and 115V ac.

1- the charger from mains will work okay, though diode D2 will prevent that the battery is 100% charged. Check if there is not a diode inside the charger, this would mean you can cancel D2.

yes, i can confirm that with winNT4, but:
if this fat32 section contains a lot of files, you might run into trouble. i'm not sure if this is a simple 'not enough pointers' problem or more. As i said it works fine, but sometimes it cannot open...
