ADS 2012 substrate for CPW line

Hello, I thank you very much for your reply. I will be so greatful if you design a CPW for me so that I will be able to compare with the one I did. In fact, for dimensions I have chose: W(conductor width) = 4.5 mm, G (gap) = 0.25 mm, gnd larger = 5 mm. The length = 50 cm . THANKS

ADS 2012 substrate for CPW line

I don't understand why 70mils (=1,778 mm). I have a totale thickness = 1,6 + 0,035 mm. But, with ADS 2012, in substrate definition, how can I change the conductor to 2 pieces ? It's always one piece on the substrate definition, and, in the layout I use three conductors, two of them are ground...

ADS 2012 substrate for CPW line

Are you using ADS 2012 ? because we haven't the same interface. In my case I can't change the conductor. For 1.6mm, it is the thickness of my substrate (FR4) and 35 µm the conductor's thickness (copper).

Substrate for CPW line (ADS 2012)

Hello, I am simulating on momentum/ADS 2012 a CPW transmission line with finite ground planes. I am wondering if my substrate is well defined. I selected : - for the top layer: strip layer (I define then two ports connected to the conductor and I associate to them their 4 ground...

50 Ohm CPW best dimensions (ADS momentum)

Hi I am working in (relatively) low frequencies, between 10 and 300 MHz, and in this band, having -20 dB isn't enough to have exactly 50 Ohm as Zc. When I represented Zc, I get 57 Ohm. Please, is there so who have already simulated a CPW line on ADS and obtained exactly 50 Ohm when...

50 Ohm CPW best dimensions (ADS momentum)

Hello, I thank you for your replies ! Yes I used line calc in the begining (where I introduced all line/subtrate parameters) but I got a reflexion coefficient module around -20dB in Momentum simulations which is not enough for me. So now I am optimizing these dimensions to get a better...

50 Ohm CPW best dimensions (ADS momentum)

Hello I am trying to find the best dimensions for a CPW line by momentum simulations in the frequency bandwidth [1,400] MHz. I did some simulations, I found a |S11| around -50dB for these dimensions: - W=3 mm, G=0.5 mm and ground plane 6 mm. But this is the case of a 10cm line. When I...
