can get the value of lambda (channel modulation) from IV curve?

let: Idm = Id with channel modulation effect Id = Id without channel modulation effect therefore del(Idm)/del(VDS) = slope = lambda x Id right? to get the lambda, divide slope with Id, where Id is the value when VDS=VGS-VT right?

can get the value of lambda (channel modulation) from IV curve?

but the slope is: del(I)/del(V) - mho (transconductance) whereas lambda = V (power -1) lambda = del(L) / VE x L but why slope is used to estimate lambda? i don't get it.

can get the value of lambda (channel modulation) from IV curve?

Hi. Can we estimate the value of lambda from IV curve? Is the slope of the IV curve represent lambda? Thanks.

[SOLVED] Is there a method on circuit level to adjust the threshold voltage of a MOS?

yes by using bulk biasing. you can make it higher or lower depend on polarity of the bulk voltage.

Effect of Compensation Network on Op-amp (circuit attached)

Hi, Can someone explain to me What is the effect of the compensation network in the (attached) circuit on AC analysis (gain, phase and bandwidth)? What happen if we remove the network? I could not find any good effect of the network, is there a way to make use of it? Thanks.

    PTM and MOSIS process technologies

Re: Help Me. Basic of PTM technology. Thanks for the equation and explanation. Can you provide me specific link for IEEE papers to this issue. I found the minimum sizing (Wmin:Lmin) from IBM for: 130nm = 0.16um:0.12um 90nm = 0.12um:0.10um 65nm = :0.12um:0.06um IMO, this is the practical...

    PTM and MOSIS process technologies

Help Me. Basic of PTM technology. Hi all, Previously i used process technologies from Mosis for my simulation. It already has test result for every technologies. Now im migrating to PTM model. Im looking for minimum dimension for 90nm, 65nm, 45nm and 32nm technology. From IBM test result...

    [cadence newbie] plotting model parameter

i got an error: "Unexpected operator "*". Expected end of file or end of line" i included the file sigtype.scs into the Model Libraries is it how it should be? anyway im on spectre. Added after 12 minutes: that is also another possible way.i will try it. thanks Keith. Aindejeje

    [cadence newbie] plotting model parameter

i try to plot vth as i sweep bulk voltage (vbs) of a transistor. vth = vth0 + f(vbs)

    [cadence newbie] plotting model parameter

Hi all, I just want to ask, is it possible to plot a model parameter. I want to plot vth (threshold voltage) of a transistor as i sweep input voltage. Thanks.

    (cadence newbie) transistor parameters analysis

Hi all, I very new to Cadence. I want to monitor the transistor parameters of my circuit (without plotting). For example: ID, VDS, IBS (leakage current), VTH etc. Is it possible? I cant find any tutorial on this. Maybe its too basic. Thanks for your help.
