whats the difference in application of ferrite core transformer

As I understand you want to buy a ready-made transformer rather than winding it manually. would you supply more data about its part number ? The first thing that comes to mind is that the fifth leg is a center-tap !

    Signal conditioning Question

Hi everybody I need to find an instrumentation amplifier to drive an ADC . the amplifier input is the triangular voltage signal from 1 KHz to 1 MHz shown in the figure. I need to keep this signal without distoration while multiplying by a gain of 3 . Any suggestions ?

    Large Signal Frequency Response

Hi I just need to understand the curve entiteled "Large Signal Frequency Response' in the AD620 Instrumentation amplifier datasheet. my concrete questions are: 1- What are the dashed verticle lines ? G=100 and G=1000 2- What does the phrase "BW limit" indicate in the curve? and why ? please...

Core losses for DC biased ferrites

Hello all, I am trying to calculate the ferrite core losses resulting from the an alternating current biased by a certain DC value. the core is ETD29 and the material is Epcos N27. What is the value of flux density B that can be used in the Manufacturer Pv curves? Bmav , Bav or ∆B ? the...

controlling speed ac motor with 8051

I think V/F ratio must be kept constant for frequencies over the nominal frequency. But for lower speeds (lower frequencies) , V can be kept constant while changing the speed by changing the frequency. Ahmed Salah

controlling speed ac motor with 8051

Hello which kind of AC motor is it ? if it is an induction motor , you can not control its speed by controlling the voltage as its output torque will decrease dramastically. However , you can control its speed by changing the frequency you should read something about space vector pulse width...

Why I see 10A current pulse?

Re: Current pulse What about IRF740 ? VDSS 400V Rds(on) 0.55Ohm max ID 10A trr Reverse Recovery Time ––– 360 ns, IF = 10A Qrr Reverse RecoveryCharge ––– 2.9 µC di/dt = 100A/µs you can use the selection guide of international rectifier to choose the best transistor according to your load...

How to interface an AV camera to a microcontroller?

camera interfacing yes the idea is implemented in so many applications. For example Olympus C-750 can be interfaced and contrlled by its USB connection. there are numerous camera's and CCD's in the market. Good luck in your search

which PCB designer program to use?

I used protel 1.0 , protel 1.5 , protel 99 , protel DXP and PCAD. I think Protel DXP is a very powerful tool for PCB and circuit design . it has a compatible spice engine for circuit simlation. I didnt like PCAD because it lacks libraries , you have to define the foot print for each component...

    CRC - error detection/correction

Hello , I know that CRC (in which a polynomial is used) is a tool for error detection. but it is not used for correction. I dont have a big experience so my answer may be wrong.
