i will apply to become a FAE in maxim

i was told they would ask me many question about the analog circuit application. it is extra welcome if you have any suggestion about analog circuit application. i am major in power electronics and electrical driver. but i am seldom involved in other fields, for example, ad/da, audio amplifier...

look for a paper:"Transistor DC Converters"

I tried my best to look for this paper for my ringing choke converter. L.H. LIGHT and P.M. HOOKER, "Transistor DC Converters", Proceedings of the IEE, Part B, Radio and Electronic Engineering, Vol.106, No.6, April 1955, pp 775-786. please let me know if you have any suggestion... please send it...

please tell me how to decide RCD in flyback converter?

as you know, i have to use a RCD snubber between Drain terminal of switching MOSFET and input voltage. I donot know how to choose proper value for capacitor. it seems better if i use bigger C. who can tell me the answer? thanks a lot!

Help needed for board level power supply design

In fact, the transformer is always depended on the output power. so i am agree with flatulent. if your power supply is not for special requirements, you can find one on market.

what's the main input in the calculation of a loop gain?

as you know, when we calculate the loop gain we set the main input to zero at first.(P249 in the book "design of analog cmos integreated circuits" by Razavi). i want to calculate the loop gain in a switching power supply. the output voltage is constant. but what is the main input in the...

Is this a power supply filter? why inductor?

maybe, you should add a resistior as load and simulate again.

what is the difference between loop gain and close loop gain

Thanks for all of you. in fact, i have many books about feedback. but i dont know how to use these theories in my design. for example, i design a flyback DC-DC converter. i just make the output voltage as the feedback signal. how to compensate to make its performance better? and Dear Regnum,i...

how to compute the average in ORCAD pspice a/d?

orcad invalid expression for example, i want to compute the average fo i(l1) in pspice, i use eva goal function. i can find avg() function in "analog operators and fuctions" list. but i write avg(i(l1)) in the trace expression. system tells me "invalid expression(s)". i donot know what is my...

how to choose compensations for loop stability?

As you know, if you should design a good controll sysytem, you must keep the sysytem stable at first and then you will use frequency compentstion technology for better performance. you choose some compensated parameters, just the value of C, R and so on, later you use simulation and get the loop...

what is the difference between loop gain and close loop gain

Thanks for all of you. i can draw this conclusion:the open-loop gain is A, B is feedback factor, loop gain is AB and the close loop gain is A/(1+AB). is is right? we use output voltage as the negative feedback signal when we want to keep output voltage constant in the switching power supply...

what is the difference between loop gain and close loop gain

in some feedback circuits, we often use loop gain and close loop gain.Would you please tell me the difference between them? and sometimes, we try our best to keep the loop gain constant, why? thanks for every suggestion!

switched power supply design help needed

maybe you can use Pspice to simulate the switch power supply's work. the best way is that design a simplest circuit by yourself, and make it work, then see its waveform and analyse why it is in case.

Where can I get old ICs for old boards ?

Help to get old IC... if you have many employees, give every one a good soldering iron and a solder sucker, it is enough.
