how to make a zero crossing detector circuit using 8051
 

what type of input signal you are giving? i mean voltage ranges?
give the inverse input (if its square wave) directly to ext interrupt pin or counter. write program accordingly.
you can also do using ADC.

actually i am trying to control the speed of ac induction motor .... so i am trying to fire the triac with delay for that zero crossing circuit is required .... now please help me out
