can any body help me .i want to make a XTAL VALUE FINDER.. means a hordware disen ,we fed xatl thas i\p .thas hordware o\p on LCD xtal value.
pl pl pl help me
 

Xtal value finder

Hi,
You could try this, create an oscillator that runs on XTAL(saw some circuits based on transistors) and then feed this to a frequency counter. Although I have no schematic supporting this, it could work.

thanks for giving idea. but not clear [(saw some circuits based on transistors) ]
 

Xtal value finder

Hi,
Basically, I wanna say that, create a transistor based oscillator. Usually the source of oscillation for these oscillators is RC (eg in astable multivibrator), but here the source of oscillation would be the crystal under test.
I saw some such circuits, but don't have them right now. If I find them, I'll try to post them here.
