Wood Humidity measurements.

Hi

I want to measure wood humidity during the drying proccess.
What method is recommended. I've heard about conductivity measurement of wood which depends on humidity ( mass contents of water in wood ).
But for this methods calibration tables for each sort of wood needed.
Can anybody recommend literature about this problem.
