wiztech decorders software download

Does anyone know the meaning of the error code 'err 8' displayed on the LCD of the wiztech 222 fta, made in korea?? I tried to download software from an identical decoder but the LCD no longer turns ON. The tv screen remains dark. Can anyboby shade more light?

Maybe it means that your Flash program was damage and you must reprogram it with flash programmer. and maybe your STB's boot loader need to reprograming too.

2 kind of flashwas used over the STB , 1Mb & 2Mb

As for reFlashing I suppose I need p.c. to stb hardware?
Can this be home-made, I mean the RS-232 configuration?
