Wireless Network Channel Allocation

Hi,
I am looking for ebooks/website/simulation package for channel allocation in wireless cellular networks. I am working on a research project to have the channel assignment algorithm optimize. And now I need to find a cellular network model (for channel assignment particularly) that will enable me to run this simulation. Any help or guidance will be helpful.

It would be very helpful if you could mention cellular system type, or at least channel multiplexing scheme, like TDMA, FDMA, CDMA, OFDMA, etc. The model differs very much depending on the system in question.

I am trying to simulate a Fixed channel assignment (FCA) strategy that is utilizing in may be GSM network. I wonder if this was done in Matlab b4. thanks for any help u can provide me.
