Hi All,

Does anybody know how wired-AND & wired-OR & open collector work? How can they replace tri-state gate deivice connected to bus?Please explain in detail since
I dont have anolog circuit background, many thanks indeed!

You are referring to digital circuits, not analogue.

An internet search for "digital logic gates" reveals a wealth of hits. The first one is WELCOME TO WORLD OF ASIC. If you choose the "Digital" tab it will lead you to explanations of digital logic.

I have attached a paper that I wrote some years ago (based on a paper written by Norm McLeod) that may be useful for you once you learn the basics.

I think you need to learn the basics before asking about wired OR versus Tri State.
