Wimax research proposal

Hi ,
I have done some research on Power control of MIMO wimax when channel varies over time very quickly.I have used the sliding mode control theory.Now I have to write a research proposal on wimax Mac Layer related to multimedia application for my Masters degree research .But I am confused what area will be effective for research.If anyone have any idea please share it.:|
