Will the EPIC programmer work with USB-parallel converter?

does any body know if the EPIC programmer will work with a USB-parallel converter has my nwe lap top only has USB port my old one did have a parallel port, only i dont want to go and buy a converter if it will not work

Or does anybody knowof a good programmer that will program PIC18f4520 chips it must either be USB or serial

Thanks petarpav i did have that stuff beofre but computer packed up got now computer but i could not remember what is was called i shall build that one is it quite reliable only tried quite a few but most of them failed
