Hi,
I am simulating an oscillator and it works fine in transient simultaion. But then I insert a clock source in the circuit which has no connection or relation with the rest of the circuit. You can say the clock is simply giving voltage pulses across a resistor. nothing else....and for this clock when i set a frequency of 1MHz. My transient simulation succeed. but for a higher frequency like above 40MHz My transient analysis fails with the error that no convergence with the minimum stpe siye speciifed.... I mean this clock source ahs no connection anywhere in the circuit yet the transient sims fails? please help
