Hi all,

Could u tell me why UWB communication system is resistant to multipath ?

thanks

Re: UWB question

Well, comparing to narrowband signals, the duration of UWB pulses are way too short. this short duration enables them being somehow immune to the famous multipath effect. the key concept here is the short pulse duration. but remember that this is only compared to the other narrowband signals, so the multipath effect still exists, but somehow drastically reduced.
