why the movie is shaken? which codec do I need?

Dear Friends,

I have downloaded a movie and try to play with window media player...

My os is window xp with direct x 9.xxx and already installed DivX codec...

When I played the movie, it is shaken from the beginning to the end...

Please help me how i can play it without shaking...

Which code do i need to install...

The best way to trouble shoot as to the exact codec needed is to open the file you have with the DivX player directly....DivX player usually tells you the exact codec number needed like Tag:8193 missing or something..this might be one way to find the solution...just a suggestion...did u try installing XVid?...of course without XVid u will not even be able to see any scenes....hmmm

There is a freeware tool called GSpot which tells you what kind of codec is needed.
