Hi all...

i came across the following while searching for Conventional Computer Technologies...and CAN or FlexRay being used in Vehicles....

Can Anyone Explain this in somewhat Detail.....

""Due to the specialised requirements of each type of deployment (including environmental constraints, cost, reliability and realtime characteristics), conventional computer networking technologies (such as ethernet and TCP/IP) are rarely used""

it all depends on the industry standards. I recently heard that in japan a company is coming up with a technology using TCP/IP protocol for its vehicles
