HI, all.

Why do we have to reset the photo diode before reading its charges?

thanks in advance

TO cancel the FPN noise in photodiode

The reset opreation in the active pixel is used to cancell the pixel noise. In traditional 3T pixel,it can just cancel the FPN noise;in modern-popular 4T Pinned Photodiode pixel,it is also useful in keep the correlation of neighboring double sample
