why magma GUI can not be start?

how to start the gui in magma

I install magma on linux box, but the gui can not be start, why? I install it on solaris
the GUI can be start.

It may be java problem, Magma use java to generate GUI. So you need to install JRM and SDK(maybe)
 

have you done this already ?
$> net start nscd
