Hi,

It always said this simple circuit floating when doing pspice simulation. I am really frustrated. Can anyone help me to look at this simple circuit. many thanks!

Re: why it always said this simple circuit floating in pspic

maybe you have to at a 0v power supply to get it work.

Goed luck.

For spice you have to provide a DC path to ground, bypass your caps with a large 1Gohm resistor to ground 0V reference.

I agree with MAX, if it didn't work, try using a DC source instead of the initial condition. i.e. use a source in parallel to your cap.

Cheers

Sometimes there is some ground problem in PSPICE simulations. Double click on your ground node and give 0 V instead of "gnd" in the options form that pops up.

I prefer using LTSPICE than PSPICE if you are a student.
