In op-amp V+ and V- are not interchangeable, but in comparator Vin and Vref are.
(Vin is DC sweep)
Is this correct?
If so, if I am interchanging the terminals in comparator, and I am not seeing the same voltage characterstics, what is the reason.? Is this the result of offset?

Re: op-amp vs comparator

If you switch the signs around for comparator, you switch the output of the waveform. It is fliped.

Re: op-amp vs comparator

it's the result of offset and asymmetrical of the circuit.

Re: op-amp vs comparator

When u change the terminals , u wont the get same output as the symmetricity of the comparator is lost
