Hi All

Why do BJTs have a better drive strength than CMOS transistors?

Best Regards

BJTs have much higher transconductance (gm) than do FETs. That means in order to get the same current output, you need to apply much higher voltage on the input of the FET than on the BJT. For the same input voltage, BJT generates much higher current output than FET. Hope this helps with your question.
