Which type of Linux plantform is the best one to install EDA tools?
or which one you are using?:D

Hi whxqq, i'm using ubuntu, but by now i've used just Kicad and Wings, some time ago (1 year) i've tried a software for simulations, but it was not good at all. I don't know of any good solution to make simulations (Like in OrCad), this is the reason for keep Micro$oft in my PC. I love ubutnu.

Regards, Diego.

This is an example of one of the first attemps of a board in Kicad, in it's 3D view. The white 3D packages are made by me in Wings, it's really easy to use, you just need some time with it.

redhat enterprise linux is guaranteed good for most of eda tools. if you dont want to waste time, you may start straight from it.
