Hi

I have 10k poly resistor in my design. In layout i have 10 segments each of 1k.
Each poly segment having one contact at each side.
There are two way to connect these segments, first i can merge the contacts of each segments and second way is i'll connect each segment by metal1. which type of connection will give accurate value.I mean near to 10k.

Here i have attached the layout of one poly segment..

If the design rules allow for merging, do it. If you want them to lie side by side, you have to use metal1 connections, of course.

Have a look at the process control limits, and any model
accuracy info you can find, and then decide whether you
are overthinking the problem (as regards connections'
contribution to any overall error).

Poly resistors are notoriously variable, with grain attributes
playing a significant role on resistance and tempco.

The question is if the resistance of head is included in its model or not. If so, don't merge them and vice versa.
