which one is better backend or frontend

Dear all
which is the better option in vlsi field to start with frontend or backend and which field have more number of jobs at fresher level ,actually i m doin a course on complete vlsi design and 2006 passout in ece.

Hello Bhardwaj

according to me there are more jobs at front end side and which do not reqiure more exp, but wat i heard r realised is to have soem solid exp in back end to get a good job and if u do not have campus selection getting jobs at back end is not that easy !!! this is my personal exp so pl,ease do not give upp hopes !!!

As back end eng also u at some point will need soem knoledge of front end ..
