which mobiles I can use for GSM interface with 8051
which mobiles i can connect to 8051 to send and recieve SMS using AT commands
no mbus or fbus protocol
and no usb interface
it should be RS232 or USART TTL

people say the t series of sony erricsson is OK. Well, I believe but I couldn't lay my hands on one. So I chose Nokia 6100 with inbuilt modem. It woked, after some headache with my PIC interface. Good luck

We used Siemens from type 35 to 75. They can communicate with PC through RS232 and AT Command. So they can communicate with microcontroller 8051. Unfortunately Siemens doesn't produce them anymore.
