Which Linux version should I start with?

hi to all
i am new in linux world
and i want to learn linux
so can anybody guide me about which linux ver should i use to start with ??

also give me links to download.

Take a look at Ubuntu, in my opinion, one of the easiest (if not the easiest) linux distros nowadays. I think it's ideal for beginners:

No doubt Ubuntu 8.04 , start with LiveCD
you will get lot of help from internet for ubuntu

for a beginner I'd recommend using a virtual machine like microsoft virtual pc 2007 (it's free)
and Open SUSE or Mandriva .
