Which is the best OS to install Cadence IC610/ startup errors

Hi
I wanted to know which is the best software to install Cadence IC610.
I have installed it in ubuntu 12.04 i386.

Question 1:
When I tried to run virtuoso it is showing the following error.

Qt Warning: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 19 (X_DeleteProperty)
Resource id: 0×5400011
Qt Warning: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 8 (X_MapWindow)

\e Display :0.0 Error “BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)”

I didnt find any xorg.conf file.So I created one and added

Section “Extensions”
Option “Composite” “Disable”
EndSection

Even then it is showing the same error.
Should I install it in some older version of ubuntu or any other OS.
Please help me to fix this problem.

Just reboot machine and should work

I ran cadence on ubuntu and redhat without any problem.
