I am looking at a good starting point to work in RF-ID.
Basic theory and if possible DIY kits link will be of much use.

Thanks in advance.

bimbla.

Did you see the book -- "RFID Handbook: Fundamentals and Applications in Contactless Smart Cards and Identification"

This book might be the only one that talking about real circuit and fabrication of RFID.

First, you must konw how long of the range you need.
Second, choose the right frequency band.
Third, serach the information on internet.
