hi everybody, which version is suitable to ASIC develop?

After read some comments about C++ builder, I believe C++ builder 6 may be have too much extra features I may not never use them for whole life of ASIC developing, Borland C++ 5.1 is good, but may short of some nessesary functions, C++ 4.0 may be good choise, further can look at C++ builder 5, but never goes to C++6. It is waste money and resources for the company, its target is Internet Web database not ASIC.

Thanks for your comments!
