plz help me out!!

hii electronic geniuses out there......

i'm not a newbie in electronics.i hav the basic background in electronics but havn't any practical experiences of building circuits.

i want to learn practical circuit making af all types....i.e., analog, digital,rf,etc.
can anyone recommend me a book explaining various circuits so that i build circuits after understanding them.
i've been thru many of the books ...but most of'em either gives basic knowledge and none of them explains circuits or teaches practical circuit designing.

Also, plz tell me a detailed procedure of learning electronics...which type of circuits to start from{ that increases my in depth knowledge} ...and how to increase my level.....

plz help me out there......!!

plz help me out!!

You may start learning power supply design. First, design a linear voltage regulator, then a switching voltage regulator. Then, try to ask yourself the advantages and disadvantages of each voltage regulator. You may read the following ebook:

Switchmode power supply handbook

Power Supply & Battery Charger Book

You may also start with microcontroller based project. There are few books on PIC microcontroller available in this board:

PIC Robotics - A Beginner’s Guide to Robotics Projects Using the PICmicro

Programing PIC Microcontrollers with PICBasic

Quintessential PIC Microcontroller, The

Easy PIC'n A Beginner's Guide to Using the PIC

You can study other practical circuits from two popular electronic magazines:

Circuit Celler

Everday Practical Electronics

Many other references:
Analog Circuits Cookbook

Temperature Measurement

An Introduction to Temperature Measurement and Calibration

Handbook of Operational Amplifier Application

You need to make your hand dirty then you learn.

I have this ebook. I'll look for a link on the net and if it isn't available I'll upload it if you need it.

Alarm,Sensor & Security Circuit Cookbook

I had uploaded this book about 5 or 6 months ago but it isn't available anymore. I'll reupload if you want it.

i hav one part of the book

it'll be better if u reload the book.
one more question......is it necessary to hav an oscilloscope to start makling electronic circuits...??

I think so. If you're affordable, you should consider (lower end) oscilloscopes from Textronic. Or, you can buy PC based DAQ card or PC based Logic Analyser. They are not expensive. I think you can buy 'both' of them for less than 1000USD.

Examples:

ANT-16 Logic Analyzer
Manufacturer: USB Instrument
Interface: USB port
16 channels
2048 samples deep
500MHz asynchronous
100MHz synchronous
USD330.00

ADC-200/20 Oscilloscope
Manufacturer: Pico
Dual channel oscilloscopes / analyzers
Interface: D25 to PC parallel port
20 MS/s
USD580.89

plz help me out!!

is there any cheap alternative to oscilloscope.....

it seems even the cheapest one is out of my rangr!!

plz help me out!!

i found the battery charger and power supply book very helpful.

also, are there similar books which deals with transistor or timer circuits seperately.
or are there similar books which explain various circuits ????
