Where to buy a fingerprint scanner?

does anyone know where to buy the kind where u have to slide your finger? Also is it hard to interface it to a PIC?

There are quite a number of manufacturer, maybe this is what yr looking for..
they are used in Notebooks and cellphones.

They sell variety finger print sensor for embedded aplication. All you have to do it get one of the OEM version from them, then select what ever mincrocontroller you want to play with. It is easy to control because all the algorithm they have solve already. We just sent some command, probably serial (RS-232) communication to communicate with this sensor then we grap any data from the sensor.
