hi !!
First you must tell me for what purpose are you needing RFID reader IC ?
Is it for your hobby or academic project ? Then its gonna be real difficult.
Lemme explain.
Well, as far as Reader ICs are concerned ,they are available in plenty.
From Texas, philips to microchip ,or say Holtek or Emmicroelctronics, Every company has atleast 20 different reader ICs !
Say for eg; MCRF 45X of Microchip !
So the problem ?
Well these companies entertain only bulk order (for eg . Microelectronics has minimum booking of 10000 pieces )
I've been searching for this for so long...i tried many companies, but faced some or the other problem.
Solution : Go for RFID evaluation kits (they cost more ) ,but can be used.
Also please check other companies as i am sure only about Texas and Microchip.
And in case you find one, please let me also know.
One more thing you can do it design the RFID reader circuit without reader IC..
Please refer to RFID Handbook for more details. www.rfidhandbook.com
also available in forum.
