DFT :design for test

Design For test is not just BIST or scan chain, it has been a system design concept, you should consider this when the system design phase. There are some book in this forum, please refer to book upload/download branch.

A great book on DFT covering basics is :-
"Design-for-Test for Digital IC's and Embedded Core Systems" by Alfred L Crouch.

This book is available in the libraries of the following places:-

The best DFT book out there for my money is:

VLSI Test Principles and Architectures
Edited By: L.T. Wang, Chen-Wen Wu and Xiaoqing Wen

Very up-to-date and complete - and reasonably priced...
