Re: what's the difference between firmware and operating sys

Hi

Firmware can hold with it an operating system - and most of them do but not all

All the best

Bobi

normally Firmwares wil run the Embedded System. ican call it as a mini OS. These will be having minimum limited applications on it.
I think you know about the OS.

any links or ebooks?

irmware is the programming that is embedded on a chip in the device and which controls that device whereas software is the programming that provides functionality over that which is provided by the firmware.

Re: what's the difference between firmware and operating sys

firmware are programs that been encoded by manufacturer of the IC or something and cannot be change...
while OS are program that can be inputed by the user and can be change....ithink :D
